Six Ways to Naturally Detox the Body

There are new detox diets and teas popping up on the market everyday, but there is no need to spend money on fads when there are natural and inexpensive ways to achieve the same (or better) results. Below I’ve listed six ways to naturally detox your body. They’re all natural, inexpensive, and yield real results.

1. Lemon Water

Try starting your morning with a warm glass of lemon water instead of coffee or orange juice. It aids in flushing out toxins, promoting digestion, and encourages bile and digestive juice production in the body.

2. Juicing

Replace a meal with fresh veggie/fruit juice. Because fresh juice is solely made up of fresh produce it is loaded with nutrient dense and raw foods that provides the body with more of the resources it needs to support the natural phases of detoxification by helping to remove built up toxins in the body

3. Apple Cider Vinegar   A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar added to a glass of warm water every morning (consume on an empty stomach) can aid in remedying digestive issues, detoxification, and reducing intestinal bloating.

4.) Dietary Fiber

Start to incorporate more dietary fiber rich foods into your diet. Fiber aids the body in flushing out buildup in the intestines. Increase your fiber intake gradually as fiber rich foods can be intense and put you through quite the discomfort on its way out. You’ll want to allow your body time to adjust to it.

5.) Drink More Water 

You must stay hydrated by drinking lots of water! Staying hydrated prevents constipation, wakes up the digestive system and liver, and is key in assisting with ridding the body of toxins.
